How To Add more buttons to Quick access Toolbar in Excel


 Introduction :

While studying the different parts of Excel worksheet we came across the tiny yet mighty Quick acess toolbar. We have also seen a brief intro on how to customize the Quick access toolbar. In continuation to that, in this tutorial we'll have a look at one of the major customizations of the QAT i.e. we'll have a look on how to add more buttons to the Quick Access toolbar.

Step 1 :

Go to the Quick Access toolbar at the top of the screen.

Step 2 :

In the right corner of the Quick access toolbar, there is a dropdown button called the “Customize Quick access toolbar button”. Click on this dropdown.

Step 3 :

From the dropdown list that appears, choose the command buttons that you want to appear in the Quick access toolbar.

Step 4 :

Click the desired command buttons. A checkmark will appear in front of these command buttons. For example we have chosen to add the “Quick Print” and the “Spelling” command buttons to the Quick access toolbar.

These command buttons will now be visible in the Quick access toolbar.
